Q:. Are the charges based on family or Per Person on the registration sheet. 

A: The Registration fee is based on a family, all other seminars & events are per person charges

A: YES But there are 7 other choices we have listed

Q:. Will there be secure trailer parking available.

A: YES. We you can see the location here as overflow parking if needed

Q; Is there a charge for Trailer parking

A: No

Q: How long are the tours, like the Piquette tour and the Edsel Home

A: Like any tours the they are as long as you choose to make them, but for conversation sake we would tell you to allow at least 2-1/2 hours per tour.  Getting to the locations are on your own so always allow for travel time. For more information visit their site https://www.fordpiquetteplant.org/visit/.

Q: On the welcome party is the admission to the museum for anytime or ONLY for the welcome party?

A: As indicated on your registration the Henry Ford Museum on Monday Night is ONLY for our members that are attending the welcome party and its available to us till 11:30 pm.  It is open all other times to the public.

you must be registered for the welcome party to attend the cocktail party and enter the museum after 5pm.

and sorry you cannot attend the Welcome party cocktails to get into the museum for free and not pay for the welcome party dinner.

Q: Where will the seminars take place?

A: Most events/seminars will be held at the Host Hotel; DoubleTree Hotel

Q: Does the The Grand Tour to Greenfield Village include admission

A: YES The admission also includes your Pavillon Lunch.  Parking is at no charge and there will be an area for the Model A's, Keep in mind that Greenfield Village is open to the entire public. 

Passes will not be accepted and all attendees that join us on the grand tour must pay the tour price.

Q: I see we have the option of doing the famous Woodward Dream Cruise. Where will we line up for that?

The Woodward Dream Cruise event is a classic car event held annually on the third Saturday of August in Metropolitan Detroit, Michigan, along Woodward Avenue, a major thoroughfare built in the early 20th century.

Q: Where will Touring class judging take place?.  

A: We will announce where Touring class judging will be at a later date, we can tell you it will be either inside or outside. :-)

Q: Am I expected to be at Touring judging all day if I enter my car

A: YES. Touring class judging is an all day event that takes place on Wed. You are also required to attend the mandatory meeting on Tuesday afternoon.

​

Q: Where is Fine Point Judging.  

A: Fine Point Judging will be at the Host Hotel: DoubleTree

​

Q: Do I need to be a member of MARC if I just want a swap space?

A: YES. All participants of the MARC National Meet must be members of MARC, IF they want to attend events.

 

We do have a VENDOR ONLY Swap Spaces Available. This does not include admission to any MARC events and an insurance certificate must be provided for liability for the vendor.

However it would be prudent to join MARC for $45.00 and then your swap space is $30.00 and you DO NOT need to provide your own insurance certificate.

Q: I am only attending as a swap vendor, do I still need to register for the meet?

A: YES. All people attending the MARC National meet must register and pay for attendance to the meet. SEE ABOVE for more clarification.

Q: I want to attend the swap only as a buyer, do i need to register for the meet?

A: YES this is a closed meet and all attendees must register

​

Q; Where will the swap take place?

A: This years National Swap will be outside and behind the Host Hotel

​

Q: As a vendor will the area of the swap be patrolled by the hotel for safety overnight

A: Yes the hotel will monitor the lot and secure by gates.

​

Q: What size pop-up am i allowed as a vendor

A: 10x10 and secured and sorry NO STAKES allowed in the lot

 

Q: I have paid my registration, when will I get my tickets and other items?

A: When arriving at the host hotel be sure to check in at the Registration desk for your complete MEET PACKAGE & Goodie bag with all that you will need.

​

Q: Will there be meet information on the bus tours when we arrive and what time we need to be ready

A: YES. There will be a a White Board in the lobby with all pertinent information on it.

​

Q: When will I get the meet merchandise I paid for with my registration?

A: All meet merchandise will be available at the meet when you arrive, if you have ordered and cannot attend, it will be mailed to you. 

​

Q: Can I purchase extra raffle tickets at the meet for the big raffles?

A: YES. Plenty of raffle tickets will be available for the large items if you did not pre purchase them. In addition all raffle tickets are available now on line..https://www.vintagefordforum.com/store

Q: Will the tours sell out?

A: YES. Many of them are limited. Be sure to indicate on your registration form what you want to attend.

Q: Will the seminars sell out?

A: YES. We have limited seating in the conference rooms.

​​

Q: How do we get to the tours that we are signing up for?

A: You drive yourself to the tours, EXCEPT for the group bus tours, parking will be available. 

​

Q: Do I need to pay the $40.00 fine point or $20.00 touring class fee if I am judging in fine point or touring?

A: NO. That is the entry fee ONLY for someone entering their car into fine point and the same for touring class judging. 

​

Q: I would like to attend the Fine Point display of cars but not the ice cream social do I need to pay the fee.

A: NO. Anyone can view the fine point cars on Wed Night at the Host Hotel & NOT Participate in the Ice Cream Social. But for $10.00 a person it 's a fun night. 

​

Q: I am bringing my Fine Point for Display for the HENRY Celebration, do I need to pay the $40.00 Fee

A: NO. Display vehicles only is at no charge, IF you plan on having it judged again there will be a $40.00 Fee

​

Q: Will there be youth activities

A: Always, not only the Model A Chassis, dis-assembly and assembly, but a seminar for the youth on the Model A electrical system and the Hubley Derby.

​

Q: Can I bring my pet

A: Please check with the hotel of your choice on that issue. We do know that Town Place Suites 313-271-0200 does have pet friendly rooms for an additional fee per day.
